I grew up wanting to know how to make money and take my life to the next level. While networking with celebrities and millionaires from all over the world I started to ask them questions about how they became successful.
One of my many conversations was with Wahid Shakur who is better known as Mr. Tycoon. His brand name is Mr. Tycoon because he teaches others how to live their dreams by creating wealth through multiple income streams. I asked Mr. Tycoon to give me a step through each letter in the word TYCOON that others could implement into their lives.
Here are 6 success strategies that you can use on a daily basis to become better at what you do.
(T) Think different. Open your mind to possibilities. New thinking can produce new results. In Romans 12:2 it says people will be transformed when they renew their mind. Start you’re your day off by reading books like The Power Of Positive Thinking, As a Man Thinketh and The Magic of Thinking Big to get your mind right. When you know you can grow.
(Y) Yearn for more. What do you wake and want to do? What would you do for free? This is your passion. There is a great book entitled Crush it by Gary Vaynerchuk that will help you cash in on your passion. You can only go as far as you want to go. A big dream is in you. Your purpose is to wake it up and take action.
(C) Create income streams. When your thinking is not stinking and your passion is on par the time is now for you to capitalize on opportunities. Turn things you can do right now into products and services. Don’t wait until tomorrow. Right now you can turn your knowledge into short reports and eBooks. (O) Overcome obstacles. How you deal with obstacles can determine how far you go in life and business. I use optimism daily to help others overcome discouragement by giving them a WOE, a Word of Encouragement. Find the system that works for you. Things will happen and opportunities for destruction can knock on your door. Having good thoughts, a passionate future and seeing the opportunities you are blessed with can help you see the positive in your life so the negative doesn’t stay around.
(O) Offer to help. Find ways to give back to the next generation. Each day I get to work with the greatest minds in the world. Now the world wants and deserves to hear from greatness like you. As you rise reach out to be a mentor. In most cities there are Small Business Development Centers where you can share your expertise with upcoming entrepreneurs. If you want to work with youth there are organizations like Girls, Inc. and the Boys and Girls Club.
(N) Never quit. As a youth I loved to run and each day I’m awake I feel like I’m in the starting blocks. Love your life and put yourself in position so that you’re on track in your own lane. Many dreams end up dead and gone. They are in the cemetery. Destiny is on the phone and calling you out. What are you going to do? Mc Hammer said it best that you are “2 Legit To Quit”
